About Fabrice and Ouiwood Timberworks
With over 25 years of experience, Fabrice Lallemand completed his decade-long training with Les Compagnons du Devoir in France, a prestigious organization dedicated to preserving medieval artisanal skills. Fabrice worked with over 25 companies worldwide, gaining invaluable experience in timber framing and woodworking, including major projects like the Tomamu Cloudwalk in Japan
In 2011, Fabrice moved to beautiful British Columbia Canada, inspired by his wife. His work in Canada includes contributions to projects like zip line adventure park in Whistler, and iconic timber frame constructions across the province. Fabrice’s European background in restoring historic landmarks, including the Fregate Hermione, reflects his deep respect for tradition and his commitment to preserving history.
Today, Fabrice continues to pour his heart and soul into every project, combining the wisdom of his training with his love for the craft. His story is not just about building structures; it’s about building legacies—timber by timber, project by project.
